Since some of our garden improvements have taken place, I’m looking forward to sitting outside this spring.
When I sit outside, I like to get creative. There’s something inspirational about the birds chirping, so I’ve curated a few DIY ideas I’m looking forward to trying out over the coming weeks!
I’ve had an eye for pops of colour lately, and my eye seems to have naturally gravitated towards bright and bold projects.
Map Fridge Magnets – found in Clever Ways to Repurpose a Map (I actually fancy a few of these DIYs).
I’m really terrible at knitting, but these knitted cacti look so sweet. I can’t find the DIY for this image, but Sewing Barefoot has a really good tutorial here and An Oregon Cottage has a good DIY for the Pom Pom flowers too, which I think I will make in yellow and teal.
Absolutely love these cheeky garden gnomes made from sticks. I think I’ll be tempted to add googly eyes to mine. We’ll see.
I’ve also been looking for an easy toadstool DIY to compliment them.
Get the tutorial at Swallow’s Heart.
I have also recently been given an old garden table set by my parents – waste not want not.
Sadly its in pretty bad shape, although its still super sturdy, so it’s asking for a mega makeover!
As I want to transform our small outdoors space into a small paradise I’ll be thinking of ways to restyle this baby to fit in nicely.
All of that coming up – plus a mini cruise to Amsterdam next weekend.
