The weather being so delicious over the weekend, coupled with booking a trip and plans to book another have got me wishing for some summertime clobber.
All those things, and the fact that I revisited my “Spring/Summer” wardrobe to find I had retained close to nothing from last year’s swag, which is both terrifying and welcome.
It’s about time I revamped my summer style.
Like I say every year, I want a more versatile warm weather wardrobe, so above you can see some of the items I’m lusting after.
The Barry M Gelly Nail colours are so citric and pastelly and delectable, I’m always spoilt for choice at the stand.
This week they have a 3-for-2 on at Superdrug, so I’ll be taking full advantage…
I’m also feeling a bit more zesty these days, I can’t get enough of the Tropical print Bikini Bottoms and Lemon Slice Clutch from New Look.
I’m stoked to throw on the H&M Pink Skater Dress or the George Tribal Playsuit with the Straw Hat, which will be a perfect beach-to-bar cover up for the Kelly Brooke Bikini Top (sold out) & Black Mesh Insert Bikini Bottoms.
The tangy yellow pencil skirt from George at Asda and the H&M Gingham mini skirt are perfect for throwing together with a crop t-shirt or band shirt – which is something I’m way into for warm weather.
They’ll both also look awesome barefoot, with gladiators or with some wedges for a night out.
Finally, I’ll be replacing my love-worn Sourpuss nautical high waist shorts with these navy blue River Island High Waist Shorts – which is the most expensive item on my list at a stonking £25.
High enough to be worn with the Bikini top.
Formal enough to wear with a blouse and heels.
Casual enough to style with victory rolls and a halterneck, or with wavy beach hair and a baggy tank top.
Most. Versatile. Shorts. Ever.
What’s on your warm weather wishlist?
