Today we’ve made the short trip from Clarksdale up to Tunica – which is the nearest place across the border from Tennessee that you can gamble. Last time we visited Tunica we left with over $400 in winnings, so we’re hoping this trip is at least as prolific.
The weather is set to his around 23 degrees, but we’ll probably be in the casino anyway.
We’re not banking on doing anything particularly authentic here, just a bit of gambling, chilling in the hot tub which is in our room, yo, and unwinding before we head to Memphis tomorrow. It’s also my baby brother’s birthday today, so I’m hoping for free wifi so I can keep in touch with him alllll day. If not, happy birthday Stephen!
Luck, be a Lady!
Ps I’ll be running the Great Manchester 10k on May 11th in aid of The Wood Street Mission. They are a Manchester charity dedicated to supporting local families living in poverty. All of your support is massively appreciated by me and of course the 14,000 children affected by poverty in Manchester. If you’d like to contribute you can sponsor me here: https://www.justgiving.com/CatherineCantRun/
