Beautiful Boots | The Autumn/Winter Wishlist*

If there’s one thing I love about Autumn, it’s getting to wear boots again. They’re so easy to just slip on, and can update even the drabbest outfits with ease. To compliment my recent Coats roundup, I thought today was a good opportunity to share some of my top picks for autumn boots! Everyone knows they’re the best footwear for the season – they keep you snug, look awesome and conceal your odd socks. Just me?

Like I said, I love the convenience of boots, so in keeping with easy shopping these styles have been mostly picked from Jones Bootmakers, who stock a huge, varied range of ladies boots. I like that – it’s great being able to fill your basket with all the styles you’re lusting after without having to shift from site to site! They also have a nice selection of bags… just in case you’re an arm candy gal.

Anyway,  This year I’m swaying towards browns and dusty blacks – because winter colours obviously run deep in my soul (sole – haha). Check out my top picks below:

While I was browsing, I stumbled across a really cool brand called Rieker Boots too (numbers 3 and 6 above), which are abundant on another one-stop shoe shop. I love their walking boots in particular – they’re just the right balance between functional and funky. I’m considering investing in a pair for the impending bad weather warning (seriously, The Daily Express says we’re about to get 5 months of snow – get yourself some hard wearing boots!). There’s something really sweet about their designs, slightly off kilter, they remind me of a toned-down version of Irregular Choice. Plus this website has free next day delivery and free returns…. Yes please!

Now my only problem is decided how to whittle this collection down to a reasonable collection. Can we take a vote?

Do you have your autumn/winter boots sorted yet? Why not give Jones’ Bootmakers or Shoetique a go?
